The Studio

The world in and around the painting studio, be it real or imaginary as well as the painting materials constitute a common and favorite subject matter for M.K. He has always been interested in the procedure of artistic representation. He has been characterized as a “fetishist” of materials. In the presentation here mostly early work has been included, while in the more recent series “365” many works with similar themes can be found.
